Aikido of Honolulu is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization made up entirely of volunteers. All fees collected are used towards the maintenance of the dojo facilities and Aikido-related events. We welcome all donations in the forms of time, services and financial support.
There are a number of ways of contributing to the dojo, with the easiest being a monetary donation in any amount. All donations are tax-deductible. Receipts can be provided on request.
Currently, donations may be designated to two funds: (1) General Fund, and (2) The Robert H. Aoyagi Aikido Development Fund.
We have provided three ways to donate funds below.
In Person
Use one of the payment envelopes at the dojo and slip your donation inside (cash or check), label the envelope appropriately, and submit it to an instructor.
By Mail
We suggest you send a check, made out to "Aikido of Honolulu," to the dojo mailing address at:
